Creepy crawlies

I don't know why, but I felt compelled to
follow the trail of ants... wishing I didn't

I realize it's completely irrational, but I'm totally afraid of bugs.
I've spent the last several days on an organic farm (which was awesome, post to follow) where I lived in a mud hut in the forest with lots of ants and mosquitos and various other creatures. I just moved into a bungalow in town and was excited to take a break from the bugs, but I found what looks like a baby tarantula in the bedroom along with several smaller spiders in the bathroom, two snails, a cockroach, and hundreds of ants eating some dead animal, a lizard maybe?
I finally got under my bed net to find that the only mosquito in the room was already inside it. I'm tempted to check into a hotel for a night just to get away from all the nature up here!
