Mantin and Port Dickson

I spent the weekend in Mantin with a friend I made at the hostel in KL.  He's a student at one of the University's there and had a spare bedroom, my first pseudo couch surfing experience!

We took a but to Seremban and then a local bus to Mantin.  It was standing room only and I had my big bag with me, it was a long half hour!

Mantin is really pretty with plenty of open space, much different than KL.  Mohsen's roommate, Omar was so friendly and insisted on making a traditional dinner.

On Sunday I wen to the beach with Mohsen and Omar. We went to Port Dickson which is supposed to be where locals from KL will go on weekends.  It's definitely going through a lot of changes, there was construction everywhere, they're putting up condos and hotels and building shopping centers all over the place. The beach wasn't that great and I cut my feet on the sharp rocks but the water was so amazingly warm.

I found a store in Port Dickson that sells nothing but colorful hijabs!
