Another wonderful day in Malaysia

I'm having a great time in KL this time around, mostly due to the great people in my new guesthouse.  Today a group of us went next door and helped clean out a space to be turned into an addition on the guesthouse.  I even made 50 ringgit! (Ok, that's nothing, but I have no other income so it's kind of exciting.)  It was really dirty work, but it was kind of satisfying to see the empty space after we were finished.

The highlight of my day though was the Heli lounge.  I went with a couple from my hostel and it was fantastic!  We took the skytrain to this office building and then rode the elevator all the way up to the 34th floor and then walked up a few more flights to the helipad on the top of the building.  There were chairs and tables set up around the roof and there weren't too many people so it was perfect.  The view was fantastic!  It was cloudy, so no beautiful sunset, but we got to watch the city light up as the sky got dark and it was amazing.  It was so quiet up there as well!  You don't hear all the traffic that you don on the street level, although we did hear a few sirens and people screaming from what we had to assume was the roller coaster at the mall.

As we were leaving one of the other guys from our hostel met up with us, he'd gotten lost on the way, so I took him to Bukit Bitang where we ate Thai food from one of the many street restaurants.  I've missed red curry!
