Happy Fourth of July!

Rushed my trip to Chiang Rai (kind of sad, it was amazing and I could've stayed several days) in order to be back for the fireworks in Chiang Mai tonight. Because it just wouldn't be the same without fireworks! A couple of the restaurants on the river were hosting barbecues with music and fireworks. (I tweeted to the consulate and they told me, haha, oh, technology!) I met up with my friend Anna and we got to the river just in time to catch the fireworks from the bridge. And then followed it up with dinner at Pizza Hut for an 'American' meal. My favorite! And to top off the night I stopped at a bar to order a mango coconut shake but she misunderstood and made me two separate shakes... Oh well, cheers!
